[From Mashable] He is truly a Gentleman Jack! This has got to be the most polite cease and desist letter I’ve ever seen, and I have seen quite a few. Apparently, Patrick Wensick‘s book Broken Piano for President has cover art that is (more than) vaguely reminiscent of good Old No. 7.

The letter sent to Mr. Wensink is classy and classic. Here is an excerpt:
In order to resolve this matter, because you are both a Louisville “neighbor” and a fan of the brand, we simply request you change the cover design when the book is re-printed. If you would be willing to change the design sooner than that (including the digital version), we would be willing to contribute a reasonable amount towards the cost of doing so. By taking this step, you will help us to ensure that the Jack Daniel’s brand will mean as much to future generations as it does today.
I don’t usually want to hug lawyers, but I not only want to hug this one, I want to buy him a round or drinks!
